Description
Calf Starter Meal is a palatable and nutritious food formulated to be fed to calves from birth to three months of age. It provides the necessary nutritional requirements of the pre-ruminant calf to promote rapid and healthy rumen development. It is nutritionally balanced for essential nutrients such as protein, energy, vitamins, minerals and acidifiers, and contains lasalocid sodium for improved growth rates and feed conversion efficiency and as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis. Feeding Recommendations Feed Calf Starter Meal ad lib. from birth to 3 months of age. Milk can be withdrawn from 5 to 6 weeks of age if calves are consistently consuming 1kg to 1.5kg of Calf Starter Meal per day. From 3 to 6 months of age feed Calf Weaner Pellets. To maximise consumption and to help avoid digestive problems ensure that Calf Starter Meal is fed fresh daily. Roughage and clean, fresh water must be available at all times. Warnings This feed contains Lasalocid Sodium. Do not feed to camelids, horses or other equines as it may be fatal. Withholding Period - Cattle: Nil.
