Liveweight Range: >300kg Metabolisable Energy = 12 MJ/Kg Crude Protein (min) = 14% Urea (max) = 0.7% Feed Description: Beef ’em Up is a high performance feed designed for optimal weight gain and feed conversion in feedlot or paddock feeding situations. A balanced supply of protein sources to optimise rumen function and muscle development. Rumen buffer to reduce the risk of digestive upsets, Monensin sodium added for improved growth rates, all fortified with a balanced supply of minerals and vitamins for production of strong, healthy cattle. Stock Class: Confinment or pasture fed cattle Feeding Methods: Lick-feeders, troughs or trail feed Directions for Feeding: Clean, fresh water should be available at all times. Introduce grain gradually over 14-21 days to allow for rumen adaptation. Initially feed less than 1kg/head/day until all cattle are eating then increase gradually over a two to three weeks. Provide higher quality fodder in the introductory phase. Never introduce feed ad lib to starving/hungry cattle. In confinment fed cattle provide a continuous supply of feed and a minimum of 20% roughage in the ration to minimize digestive upsets and optimize production.
