About Us
Specialty Mix Foods began it's journey under it's founder Bryan Barnes back in 1965.
From humble beginnings in a small shed located in Diamond Creek, Bryan and his son Patrick set about building the foundations of what would ultimately become one of Melbourne's premier pet and stock food wholesalers.
In the late 1970's Specialty Mix Stock Foods moved its operation to Ormond Avenue in Sunshine, then around the corner to it's current site at 39 Wright Street Sunshine. In the late 1990's Specialty Mix purchased more factories in the area to facilitate their rapidly growing business.
At the end of 2019 Specialty Mix Stock Foods again moved. This time into a purpose built 5500 square meter factory. This brand new facility accommodates 3000 plus pallet spaces and room for our growing fleet of delivery vehicles ranging from rigid tautliners to utes enabling us to deliver to your store promptly.
